Ayurveda (the Science of Life), is a 5,000-year-old indigenous healing structure not unlike others on the planet: Native American, Aboriginals, Aztecs, Shaman and more.
AYU120 is so named because in Ayurveda it is explained that the natural human can and should live 120 years.
Participants of this retreat are encouraged to consider the 10-month course https://www.sitawellness.com/ayu120
What it’s all about:
The retreat begins on the last day of the Spring Cleanse which starts 1 April. The retreat and the cleanse are open to all, but require a meet and greet with Shree to determine if it is a good fit/experience for your wellness goals. You will take home a pair of cotton yoga pajamas and reference booklets to help you install good habits when you arrive home.
No yoga or Ayurveda experience necessary. Drawing from traditional Hatha yoga traditions and Ayurveda (The Science of Life) Shree Maa will begin at the beginning with breathwork and joint lubrication, moving through GI balance, energy and circulation, and then shift into strengthening the spine, and improving balance. Two yoga teachers will lead classes in complimentary styles, while guests take their Ayurveda services, 5 elements forest baths, karma yoga (volunteer work) in the kitchen, DIY skin/haircare workshop, time in the hot tub/pool, pickle ball, gym or forest path walking, evening satsang (spiritual lecture & discussion), and vegetarian cooking lessons with our licensed nutritionist.
The retreat is a space/time to build good habits. If you are detoxing from substances and/or addictions, Ayurveda and yoga can play a big part in your success. However, your withdrawal needs to have been accomplished prior to arriving at retreat.

“Today is my last day of kitcheree. When I weighed myself this morning I was down 9 pounds but more importantly, my belly seems flatter. I’m still thinking about other foods but don’t seem to be craving things nearly as much.”
- Alison, Kalamazoo

“The retreat me and exceeded my expectations in every way possible. The absolute highlight of my experience was meeting so many wonderful people, from the instructors, and fellow global participants. Each day exceeded the day before, from the lovingly prepared food to the Ayurveda treatments. Daily Puja and Satsang deeply touched my soul. I may have returned from the yoga lifestyle retreat, but I still hold a piece of it in my heart and I’m forever grateful for the amazing experience. Thank you. Namaste ”
